I was doing a bit of weeding in my garden the other day and noticed that the tops of my beets were sticking out of the soil, so I decided to pull one up and see how big they are getting. They aren't huge, I think I'll let the rest of them grow for another week or two, but I just cooked this little one up for dinner. Delicious!

beets! i have just discovered that i like beets. and i bet your beets are even better than the ones from the store.
if we live together then i will have so much to learn from you (haha and even if we don't live together, i imagine i will frequent your house a lot and will still need your guidance in my quest to learn to cook!).
